NEW YORK, March 24 (UPI) -- Tyson Chandler scored 15 points to go with 17 rebounds Saturday and the New York Knicks stayed hot with a 101-79 romp over Detroit.

Amare Stoudemire added 17 points, Carmelo Anthony netted 15 and J.R. Smith provided 14 for the Knicks, who improved to 6-1 under interim Coach Mike Woodson.

Jeremy Lin also reached double figures with 13 points for New York, which rebounded from a Friday loss to Toronto and swept the season series 3-0 over Detroit.

The best the Pistons could do in their fifth straight loss was 20 points from Ben Gordon.
