NBA: Sacramento 115, Minnesota 99

SACRAMENTO, March 18 (UPI) -- Marcus Thornton scored 24 points for Sacramento Sunday and the Kings improved to 4-3 on their nine-game homestand with a 115-99 victory over Minnesota.

Isaiah Thomas drained four 3-pointers en route to 18 points, John Salmons added 15, and Jason Thompson produced a double-double of 13 and 10 rebounds for the Kings, who improved to 4-3 on the long homestand.

Sacramento led by as many as 20 points with the help of a combined 23 bench points from Donte Green and Charles Hayes.

The Timberwolves, meanwhile, got 21 points and 11 rebounds from Kevin Love.

The all-star forward got into a heated argument with teammate J.J. Barea during a late timeout and had to be separated from him.

The loss was the fifth in six contests for the T-Wolves, who fell two games below .500 for the season.
