ANAHEIM, Calif., March 15 (UPI) -- Jonas Hiller made 23 saves in his fourth shutout of the season Wednesday, carrying the Anaheim Ducks to a 4-0 victory over Detroit.

Anaheim halted a three-game skid, with Kyle Palmieri scoring twice. The Ducks produced three goals in the second period and then relied on Hiller to blank the highest-scoring team in the Western Conference.

Teemu Selanne and Bobby Ryan also scored for Anaheim.

Joey MacDonald gave up the four goals on 24 shots. Detroit has lost five times in its last six games.
