OTTAWA, March 8 (UPI) -- Ben Bishop won his second game in as many starts this season Thursday, making 25 saves in bringing the Ottawa Senators a 4-1 win over the New York Rangers.

Bishop -- who saw limited duty in two previous NHL campaigns with Minnesota and Chicago -- was called up by Ottawa for a start against Tampa Bay Tuesday. He gave up three goals in a 7-3 win in that one and he was even more solid against the Rangers.

The only goal he allowed came from Ryan Callahan 4:36 into the game. Zach Smith tied it for the Senators 1:14 later and Nick Foligno put Ottawa in front for good late in the opening period.

Kyle Turris and Jason Spezza produced third-period goals, Spezza's into an empty net.

Martin Biron made 18 saves for the Rangers, who lost for the third time in four games.
