NBA: Toronto 116, Houston 98

TORONTO, March 7 (UPI) -- DeMar DeRozan highlighted a late-game rush Wednesday that brought Toronto a 116-98 win over Houston, the Rockets' fifth straight loss.

The Raptors built a 12-point lead at halftime, but Houston fought back within four with 8:30 to play. Toronto then closed out the game on a 27-13 run.

DeRozan was one of six Toronto players in double figures with 23 points. Jose Calderon had 17 points and 12 assists, while Linas Kleiza tallied 19 points. The Raptors shot 59 percent from the field and made half their 12 attempts from 3-point range.

Toronto has four victories in its last seven contests, but has still lost twice as many games as it has won this season.

Chandler Parsons scored 19 points for Houston, which has sustained its five straight losses after winning four in a row.

DeRozan started his 121st straight game for Toronto, third on the franchise's all-time list.
