NBA: Charlotte 100, Orlando 84

CHARLOTTE, N.C., March 6 (UPI) -- Corey Maggette paced a shocking Charlotte comeback Tuesday that brought the Bobcats just their fifth win of the season, 100-84 over Orlando.

Charlotte trailed 39-19 in the first half before beginning its unlikely rally that ended a five-game losing streak. The Bobcats defeated a division opponent for the first time this season.

Maggette scored 29 points and grabbed seven rebounds. Gerald Henderson added 16 points. Charlotte outshot Orlando from the field 47 percent to 38 and finished the game on a 16-2 run.

Dwight Howard scored 15 points and claimed 17 rebounds for the Magic, who had won two in a row. Ryan Anderson and J.J. Redick both had 14 points for Orlando.

Charlotte, which endured a 16-game losing streak through January and February, has not won back-to-back games this year. The Bobcats will have a chance to do so when they host Utah on Wednesday.
