NBA: Minnesota 122, Portland 110

PORTLAND, Ore., March 4 (UPI) -- Kevin Love connected on 15-of-27 shots from the field en route to 42 points Saturday, staking the Minnesota Timberwolves to a 122-110 win over Portland.

The all-star forward drained five 3-pointers and also hauled down 10 rebounds for Minnesota, which won in Portland for the first time since December 2005.

Martell Webster lit up his former Trail Blazer teammates with 21 points and eight rebounds. Derrick Williams provided 15 points as the T-Wolves ended a two-game losing streak.

Portland, meanwhile, slipped to a third straight loss despite Nicolas Batum's 29 points.

Gerald Wallace added 25 points to go with 14 rebounds and Jamal Crawford netted 23 points for the Blazers.
