NBA: Miami 107, Portland 93

PORTLAND, Ore., March 2 (UPI) -- LeBron James and Dwyane Wade both reached the 30-point plateau Thursday while sending the Miami Heat to a 107-93 decision over Portland.

The Heat won for the ninth straight time, playing their first contest since the All-Star break in the opener of a three-game road trip.

James scored 38 points and had 11 rebounds while Wade came through with 33 points and 10 assists.

Miami had an 18-point halftime lead and cruised from there while hitting 48 percent of its shots.

Portland has dropped two in a row and has fallen back to .500 for the first time since the season started. The Trail Blazers won their first three games of the season and had a 7-2 record before beginning a slow slide back to the breakeven mark.

LaMarcus Aldridge led Portland with 20 points.
