HOUSTON, March 2 (UPI) -- Ty Lawson led an offensive show by scoring 22 points and dishing out 15 assists Friday, boosting the Denver Nuggets to a 117-105 victory over Houston.
The Nuggets handed the Rockets just their fifth home loss of the season while snapping their own four-game road skid.
Denver attempted 97 shots and made 44 percent of them. Seven Denver players reached double figures, with Andre Miller and Kenneth Faried both scoring 16.
Kevin Martin had a season-high 35 points for the Rockets. Kyle Lowry scored 17 points with seven rebounds.
Denver turned the ball over only six times and outrebounded Houston by 14. The Nuggets grabbed 19 offensive rebounds.
