BOSTON, March 2 (UPI) -- Paul Pierce and Kevin Garnett paced Boston during a dominating first half Friday and the Celtics rolled to their third straight win, 107-94 over New Jersey.

The Celtics' winning streak has followed a five-game skid.

Pierce scored 27 points with eight assists and Garnett had 10 rebounds along with his 20 points.

Boston took an 18-point lead at the half thanks to a game-breaking, 14-0 run late in the second period. Rajon Rondo, the subject of recent trade speculation, added 14 points, 13 assists and five steals for Boston.

The Celtics have defeated the Nets in 17 of their last 19 meetings.
