NBA: Minnesota 109, LA Clippers 97

LOS ANGELES, Feb. 29 (UPI) -- Michael Beasley and Derrick Williams came off the bench to score 27 points apiece and lead Minnesota to a 109-97 road win over the Los Angeles Clippers Tuesday.

Martell Webster was also in double figures in a reserve role for the Timberwolves, who won for the fourth time in five games.

Minnesota trailed 76-73 after three quarters, but Williams and Beasley both scored 13 points in the final period to send Los Angeles to its third loss in four tries.

Nikola Pekovic led Minnesota's starters with 12 points and four rebounds.

Blake Griffin led the Clippers with 20 points. Chris Paul had 27 points. The Los Angeles bench scored a total of 11 points.
