DALLAS, Feb. 26 (UPI) -- Loui Eriksson scored 3:52 into overtime Sunday, capping off a Dallas comeback that saw the Stars rally for a 3-2 win over Vancouver.

Trailing 2-1 with time running out in the third period, Dallas pulled its goalie and added an extra attacker.

Alex Goligoski unleashed a shot from the point that Mike Ribeiro tipped past Canucks goalie Roberto Luongo with 53 seconds remaining for the equalizer.

Then in overtime, Trevor Daley got control in the left circle and threaded a pass to Eriksson alone at the side of the net. He blasted it home for the game-winner, and the Stars strengthened their playoff hopes with a victory.

Michael Ryder also scored and Kari Lehtonen turned aside 24-of-26 shots for Dallas, which grabbed sole possession of the eighth and final Western Conference playoff spot with the win.

Ryan Kesler and Mason Raymond scored and Luongo finished with 25 saves for the NHL-best Canucks, who fell to 3-1-1 on a six-game road trip.
