NHL: Nashville 6, San Jose 2

NASHVILLE, Feb. 25 (UPI) -- Colin Wilson and Shea Weber put Nashville ahead quickly Saturday and the Predators rolled over San Jose 6-2.

Weber scored 80 seconds after Wilson as the Predators jumped to a 2-0 lead just 3:23 into the game. Weber added a second goal and Wilson picked up an assist.

Martin Erat also notched a goal and an assist, and Kevin Kline and Nick Spaling each scored as Nashville won for the fourth time in five contests.

Pekka Rinne turned aside 32 shots for the winners.

The struggling Sharks, meanwhile, lost for the sixth time in seven games despite a goal and an assist each from Joe Pavelski and Patrick Marleau.

San Jose goalie Antti Niemi didn't last through the first period. He was pulled after yielding three goals on seven shots.

Thomas Greiss relieved for the Sharks and turned aside 11-of-13 shots the rest of the way.
