DUBAI, United Arab Emirates, Feb. 24 (UPI) -- Julia Goerges upset Caroline Wozniacki Friday and earned a spot in the finals of the Dubai Duty Free Tennis Championships against Agnieszka Radwanska.

Goerges took a tight 7-6 (7-3), 7-5 decision from Wozniacki, the world No. 4 and defending champion in Dubai. Goerges won one more point -- 94-93 -- over the course of the 2-hour, 13-minute match but advanced after she posted her sixth break of the day.

Goerges had a pair of first-set breaks but each time Wozniacki broke back. However, Wozniacki won just one point on serve in the tiebreaker.

Georges broke to open the second set but Wozniacki rallied for a 4-2 lead. She later led 5-4 but the final break put Goerges at 6-5 and she served out for the match.

Fifth-seeded Agnieszka Radwanska dominated the third set in beating No. 8-seeded Jelena Jankovic 6-2, 2-6, 6-0. Radwanska didn't lose a point on serve in the final set and won two-thirds when receiving.

Saturday's final will be just the second meeting between Goerges and Radwanska, who was a 6-1, 6-1 winner earlier this year at the Australian Open in the other match.
