NBA: San Antonio 114, Denver 99

DENVER, Feb. 23 (UPI) -- DeJuan Blair sent San Antonio to a quick start Thursday and the Spurs coasted to a 114-99 blasting of Denver.

The Spurs bounced back after having their 11-game winning streak snapped Tuesday in Portland.

All five San Antonio starters scored in double figures and the Spurs dashed to a 26-7 lead. The advantage grew to 26 points by halftime.

Blair scored 28 points and grabbed 12 rebounds. Tim Duncan and Tony Parker sat out the loss against Portland, but Duncan came back to score 18 points and Parker had 16.

San Antonio completed its nine-game road trip with an 8-1 record.

Denver lost for the 10th time in 13 games. Corey Brewer led the Nuggets with 23 points.
