MONTREAL, Feb. 21 (UPI) -- Kari Lehtonen turned aside 31 shots to rack up his second shutout of the season Sunday, backstopping the Dallas Stars' 3-0 victory over Montreal.

Lehtonen was especially busy in the second period, when he stopped all 14 shots he saw. He added nine saves in the third en route to posting the 19th whitewash of his career.

Mike Ribeiro and Tom Wandell scored for the Stars and Ryan Garbutt netted his first career NHL goal as Dallas snapped a two-game losing skid.

Carey Price made 33 saves for the Canadiens, who have dropped four of their last five games.
