Vikings' Asher Allen retires at age 24
DENVER, Feb. 21 (UPI) -- Arron Afflalo scored four of his 20 points in overtime and Al Harrington scored 31 Monday in the Denver Nuggets' 103-101 victory over Minnesota.
Afflalo's 7-foot jumper with 33 seconds left in the extra frame put the Nuggets ahead to stay and he added a pair of game-clinching free throws 20 seconds later for Denver.
Harrington grabbed nine rebounds while Ty Lawson scored 13 and Corey Brewer had 12 points and eight boards for the Nuggets, who snapped a three-game skid.
Kevin Love finished with 22 points and 13 rebounds for the Timberwolves.
Michael Beasley put in 17 off the bench as Minnesota saw its three-game winning steak end.
