CHICAGO, Feb. 20 (UPI) --
Derrick Rose netted 23 points in his return to the Bulls' lineup Monday, powering Chicago to a 90-79 victory over Atlanta.
Rose dished off six assists, seemingly recovered from a bout with back spasms that had sidelined the reigning NBA MVP for five games, when Chicago went 3-2.
Carlos Boozer contributed 16 points and Joakim Noah hauled down 16 rebounds for the Bulls, who led by as many as 21 points in the third period.
Josh Smith had 17 points and 12 rebounds, and Jannero Pargo scored 19 off the bench for the Hawks, who lost for the seventh time in 10 games.
