NBA: San Antonio 99, Detroit 95

AUBURN HILLS, Mich., Feb. 14 (UPI) -- Tim Duncan had 18 points and 13 rebounds Tuesday to help the San Antonio Spurs hold off a late challenge and beat Detroit 99-95.

The Spurs blew a 16-point lead in the second half but Tony Parker helped right the ship, scoring eight of his 14 points in the fourth quarter.

The win was the eighth straight overall and fourth in a row on the road for the Spurs, who are on their annual Rodeo Road Trip.

Rodney Stuckey had 23 points and eight assists for Detroit, which has lost two straight games.

Tayshaun Prince scored 18 points on a night when the Pistons' Ben Wallace appeared in his 1,055th career game -- the most ever for an undrafted NBA player.
