Vikings' Asher Allen retires at age 24

CHICAGO, Feb. 14 (UPI) -- Luol Deng and Joakim Noah combined for 45 points and the Chicago Bulls turned back a Sacramento rally Tuesday, besting the Kings 121-115.
Deng had 23 points and 11 assists while Noah provided 22 points and 11 rebounds for the Bulls, who won despite the absence of reigning NBA MVP Derrick Rose for a third straight game.
Rose remained day-to-day with a sore back.
The Bulls allowed Sacramento to rally from a 19-point deficit in the fourth quarter but held on for their sixth win in seven games.
DeMarcus Cousins poured in 28 points and grabbed 17 rebounds, Tyreke Evans added 27 points and Marcus Thornton chipped in 23 but it wasn't enough for the Kings.
Sacramento fell for the third time in four games.
