Tommie Harris' wife dies

CHICAGO, La., Feb. 13 (UPI) -- The wife of former Chicago Bears Pro Bowl defensive tackle Tommie Harris died of a stroke or brain aneurysm in an Oklahoma hospital, the Chicago Sun-Times said.

Ashley Harris died Sunday evening at 29 years old, the Sun-Times reported.

Tommie and Ashley married in January, three months after Ashley gave birth to the couple's second child.

Harris was drafted by the Bears in 2004. After the Bears he played in Indianapolis and San Diego.
