JACKSONVILLE, Fla., Feb. 13 (UPI) -- Mark Lamping has been hired as president of the Jacksonville Jaguars, new team owner Shahid Khan said Monday.
Lamping will oversee all non-football operations for the Jaguars, who have not had a president for about a decade. General Manager Gene Smith handles the team's football operations.
Since 2008, Lamping has been president and chief executive officer of MetLife Stadium, which is home to both the New York Giants and Jets. Previously, he spent 13 years as president of the St. Louis Cardinals.
