NBA: Dallas 97, Portland 94 (OT)

DALLAS, Feb. 12 (UPI) -- Delonte West heated up in overtime and Dirk Nowitzke added 20 points Saturday, elevating the Dallas Mavericks to a 97-94 decision over Portland.

West knocked down six of his 10 points during the extra frame as the Mavs steadied the ship after blowing a 14-point, third-quarter lead.

Dallas persevered for its third straight win thanks, in part, to Jason Terry's 19 points off the bench.

LaMarcus Aldridge tied the score on a basket with 12 seconds left in regulation for the Trail Blazers, eventually finishing with 33 points and 12 rebounds.

Jamal Crawford's 19 points were the best Portland could do en route to its third loss in four games.
