Vikings' Asher Allen retires at age 24

FRIBOURG, Switzerland, Feb. 11 (UPI) -- The U.S. doubles team of Mardy Fish and Mike Bryan scored a dramatic win over the Swiss team led by Roger Federer in Saturday's Davis Cup play in Switzerland.
Fish and Bryan battled back to defeat Federer and Stanislaus Warinka 4-6, 6-3, 6-3, 6-3, to give the Americans a 3-0 sweep in the best-of-five first-round series.
The Americans converted 57 percent of their break points to Switzerlands' 37 percent and won 21 second-serve points to 15 for their opponents.
The U.S. team will face either Canada or France in the second round in April.
