Vikings' Asher Allen retires at age 24

INDIANAPOLIS, Feb. 11 (UPI) -- Ty Lawson led a parade of five Nuggets scoring in double figures Saturday, netting 27 points in Denver's 113-109 win over Indiana.
Arron Afflalo scored 23 points and Corey Brewer contributed 19 as the Nuggets broke a five-game losing streak with the road triumph.
Also helping out for Denver was Nene with 11 points and Al Harrington, who came off the bench to pop in 10 and grab six rebounds.
Indiana dropped a season-worst third straight game despite 26 points from Danny Granger.
David West contributed 22 points and seven rebounds, while A.J. Price added 13 points off the bench for the Pacers.
