Vikings' Asher Allen retires at age 24
OSTRAVA, Czech Republic, Feb. 11 (UPI) -- The Czech Republic moved to the next round of the Davis Cup Saturday with a doubles win that completed its sweep of Italy.
Radek Stepanek and Tomas Berdych followed up their Friday singles wins by cruising past the Italian duo of Daniele Bracciali and Potito Starace 6-3, 6-4, 6-2.
The Czechs dominated from the start with a 3-0 lead in the first set and scored a double break in the final set.
Next up for the Czechs will be the winner of the first-round series between Sweden and Serbia.
