Vikings' Asher Allen retires at age 24

BAMBERG, Germany, Feb. 11 (UPI) -- Argentina rallied to win Saturday's Davis Cup doubles match, eliminating Germany and advancing to April's quarterfinals.
David Nalbandian and Eduardo Schwank knocked off the German team of Tommy Haas and Philipp Petzschner 3-6, 4-6, 6-4, 6-3, 6-4 to complete a 3-0 sweep of the German squad.
Nalbandian and Juan Monaco got Argentina off on the right foot Friday win victories in singles play.
Argentina, which is looking for its first Davis Cup championship, will take on either Croatia or Japan in the spring.
