
SAN JOSE, Calif., Feb. 9 (UPI) -- Olli Jokinen broke a tie with his third goal of the game early in the third period Wednesday, boosting Calgary to a 4-3 win over San Jose.
The 14-year veteran center scored on all of his shots, the last one coming 3:25 into the closing period. His first two shots produced the game's first two goals, one coming with 7:30 left in the opening period. The other was scored 2:36 into the second stanza on the power play.
Logan Couture and Joe Pavelski delivered goals 1:33 apart in the second to lift San Jose into a tie, after which Jarome Iginla put the Flames back in front with 8:45 left in the middle period.
The Sharks again tied it on a power-play goal from Michael Handzuz 49 seconds into the third before Jokinen finished off his big night.
Division-leading San Jose has lost two in a row.
The win went to Miikka Kiprusoff, who made 32 saves. Antti Niemi was beaten four times on 35 shots.
