DALLAS, Feb. 8 (UPI) -- Radim Vrbata scored the decisive goal for the Phoenix Coyotes Tuesday in their 4-1 won over the Dallas Stars.

Vrbata, who also had an assist in the game, knocked in a perfect pass into the slot from Ratsvilav Klesla in the left circle to snap a 1-1 tie at 14:30 of the second period.

Keith Yandle, Raffi Torres and Derek Morris also scored for the Coyotes, who have won three consecutive games. Mike Smith notched 28 saves and Ray Whitney turned in two assists.

"That's three games now where we've played how we have to play," Coyotes Coach Dave Tippett said. "We have a lot of people that are committed to doing things that make you win hockey games."

Michael Ryder scored the only Dallas goal early in the second period and Kari Lehtonen allowed four goals on 24 shots.
