Vikings fullback Felton charged with DWI
WASHINGTON, Feb. 8 (UPI) -- Jeremy Lin scored 23 points and grabbed 10 assists in his second New York start Wednesday, boosting the Knicks to a 107-93 win over Washington.
The injury-plagued Knicks have brought Lin off the bench in his second season and the undrafted point guard has made an immediate impact. He scored 28 points in 45 minutes in his first start against Utah Monday and he put in 36 solid minutes against the Wizards.
New York won its third straight despite playing without stars Amare Stoudemire and Carmelo Anthony.
Tyson Chandler scored 25 points and grabbed 11 rebounds for the Knicks. Steve Novak had 19 points off the bench.
New York has defeated Washington in each of their last eight meetings.
John Wall produced 29 points for Washington, which has lost five of its last six. The Wizards remained stuck on five victories, second fewest in the Eastern Conference.
