ZAGREB, Croatia, Feb. 5 (UPI) -- Mikhail Youzhny swept past Lukas Lacko for a straight-set win Sunday in the championship match of the PBZ Zagreb Indoors tennis tournament in Croatia.

Youzhny won three-quarters of the points on serve in a 6-2, 6-3 win.

It was the eighth title for Youzhny but the first since a 2010 victory in Kuala Lumpur.

Lacko was appearing in his first ATP final. He earned a shot at Youzhny in the final by knocking off No. 2-seeded Alex Bogomolov Jr., seventh-seeded Robin Haase and No. 6-seeded Marcos Baghdatis.

But a fourth consecutive upset wasn't to be as Youzhny, the No. 3 seed, dropped just 12 points on serve and didn't face a break point. He had three breaks in the match.

The championship was worth nearly $90,000 to Youzhny, who topped the $9 million mark in career winnings. The runner-up check for about $51,000 pushed Lacko to more than $900,000 as a professional.
