INDIANAPOLIS, Feb. 5 (UPI) -- Eli Manning engineered an 88-yard scoring drive in the fourth quarter Sunday, boosting the New York Giants to a 21-17 win over New England in Super Bowl XLVI.

Manning marched the Giants down field in nine plays, with the key play coming on Mario Manningham's 16-yard tightrope grab along the sidelines on second and 10 from the 50-yard line with 3 1/2 minutes left.

Ahmad Bradshaw's 6-yard run untouched into the end zone with 57 seconds remaining erased a 17-15 deficit and handed the Giants their second Super Bowl victory over New England in four years.

Manning finished 30-of-40 through the air for 296 yards with a touchdown pass to Victor Cruz and no interceptions, earning his second Super Bowl ring under New York Coach Tom Coughlin. Manning was named the game's MVP.

Tom Brady completed 27-of-41 passes for 276 yards, two touchdowns and an interception for the Patriots, who were seeking their fourth Super Bowl title under Brady and Coach Bill Belichick.
