NBA: Minnesota 100, Houston 91

MINNEAPOLIS, Feb. 4 (UPI) -- Double-doubles by Kevin Love and Ricky Rubio Saturday enabled the Minnesota Timberwolves to reach .500 with a 100-91 win over Houston.

Love scored 25 points and pulled down 18 rebounds. Rubio came up with 13 points and 11 assists.

Luke Ridnour contributed 22 points for the Timberwolves, who collected their fifth in seven games and improved to 12-12 for the season.

The T-Wolves downed the Rockets for the second time in six days but only the third time in 18 meetings. They also broke an eight-game home losing streak to Houston.

Kyle Lowry and Luis Scola each pumped in 24 points for Houston, and Patrick Patterson added 14 off the Rockets' bench.
