CHARLEROI, Belgium, Feb. 4 (UPI) -- Wins by Serb Jelena Jankovic and Belgian Yanina Wickmayer left the countries tied 1-1 after Saturday matches in a best-of-five Fed Cup quarterfinal in Belgium.

Jankovic edged Kirsten Flipkens 7-5, 7-5 and then Wickmayer got past Bojana Jovanovski 6-4, 6-4, leaving the series to be decided in reverse singles and a doubles match Sunday.

Jankovic finished off four of her six break chances and fought off all but two of the break points she faced against Flipkens.

Wickmayer had 16 break-point opportunities against Jovanovski. She won nearly half (39-43) of the points when receiving serve in posting a pair of breaks in each set.

Jankovic and Wickmayer are paired against each other in the first of Sunday's reverse singles with a match between Flipkens and Jovanovski given the first chance to decide the series.

Jankovic is penciled in to team with Aleksandra Krunic for the doubles match. Tamaryn Hendler and Alison van Uytvanck are to team up for Belgium.

Either Serbia or Belgium will move on to the April 21-22 Fed Cup semifinals against the winner of a series in which Spain played at Russia. Russia is up 2-0 in that series.
