Vikings fullback Felton charged with DWI

OTTAWA, Feb. 3 (UPI) -- Defenseman Mark Eaton, playing in the 600th game of his NHL career, scored 2:35 into overtime Friday to give the New York Islanders a 2-1 win over Ottawa.
Eaton re-directed a pass from Milan Jurcina past Craig Anderson for his first goal of the season. He has scored only 24 times in 600 games that have come over a dozen years in the league.
Zach Smith scored for the Senators with 13 seconds left in the middle period and New York tied it on Matt Martin's goal 5:27 into the third.
The Islanders stopped a two-game skid while the Senators have lost five in a row. It was Ottawa's first appearance at home following a six-game road trip.
Evgeni Nabokov made 23 saves for the Islanders. Anderson stopped 30 shots.
