VANCOUVER, British Columbia, Feb. 3 (UPI) -- Pavel Datsyuk and Jiri Hudler both scored shootout goals Thursday, bringing the Detroit Red Wings a 4-3 decision over Vancouver.

Jimmy Howard gave up a game-tying goal to Mason Raymond with 3:24 remaining in regulation but stopped both Alexander Edler and Raymond in the shootout to claim the victory.

The Red Wings never trailed, taking a one-goal lead on three occasions on their way to a second straight win. Detroit leads the NHL with 71 points.

Detroit had a 2-1 lead going into the third period but Vancouver tied it on a slap shot by Alex Burrows. Drew Miller again gave the Red Wings the lead before Raymond's sixth goal of the season forced overtime.

Howard made 22 saves for the win. Roberto Luongo stopped 40 shots for the Canucks, who had a three-game winning streak snapped.
