NHL: Nashville 5, Minnesota 4

ST. PAUL, Minn., Feb. 1 (UPI) -- Mike Fisher sparked a stunning third-period rally with a pair of goals Tuesday and the Nashville Predators overcame a big deficit to beat Minnesota 5-4.

Trailing 4-1 midway through the final frame, the Predators reeled off four straight goals to record an unlikely victory, their 13th in 15 games and fifth straight overall.

Brandon Yip's goal 9:22 into the third period was upheld after a video review and Patric Hornqvist cut Nashville's deficit to 4-3 with a tally 7 minutes later -- and Fisher netted the equalizer 21 seconds after that, when he one-timed a pass through the crease from Colin Wilson into the net.

Fisher completed the comeback with an unassisted tally with 21 seconds left in regulation, launching a shot from along the right half-boards that eluded Wild goalie Josh Harding.

Pekka Rinne stopped 21 shots to earn the win.

Minnesota got two goals and an assist from Dany Heatley while Harding finished with 25 saves for the Wild, who have only four wins in their last 20 games.
