NHL: Tampa Bay 4, Washington 3 (OT)

TAMPA, Fla., Jan. 31 (UPI) -- Steven Stamkos scored on a rebound 2:45 into overtime Tuesday, lifting the Tampa Bay Lightning to a 4-3 win over Washington.

Capitals goaltender Tomas Vokoun made a great stop on Martin St. Louis after he and Stamkos broke in on net during the extra frame, but Stamkos was there to poke in the loose puck for the game-winner, his NHL-leading 33rd goal of the season.
