Nets' Brooks out with broken toe

EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J., Jan. 30 (UPI) -- Rookie New Jersey swingman MarShon Brooks, just back from an Achilles injury, is out indefinitely with a broken toe, Coach Avery Johnson said Monday.

Brooks was found to have broken the pinky toe on his right foot following the Nets' game against Toronto Sunday. It was his first game back after missing three games with a sore tendon.

Brooks scored six points on 3-of-10 shooting from the field in the loss to the Raptors. He has averaged 14.8 points through 17 contests.
