PORTLAND, Ore., Jan. 28 (UPI) -- LaMarcus Aldridge's 23 points and Marcus Camby's 20 rebounds Friday lifted the Portland Trail Blazers to a 109-71 mauling of Phoenix.

Sebastian Telfair made a free throw and hit a 3-pointer for Phoenix during the final 37 seconds, allowing the Suns to avoid setting a record for futility.

The fewest number of points scored in a game during the 43-year history of the Phoenix franchise is 68, which occurred in 1981 in a meeting with Kansas City. The Suns had only 45 points heading into the fourth period against the Trail Blazers.

The teams were tied in the opening minute of the second period but Portland then limited the Suns to 15 points in a span of 18:30. Phoenix scored only nine points in the second quarter, two more than the team's all-time low for a period.

Every player who took the floor for Portland scored except Camby, who missed all four of his field goal attempts but who dominated the boards.

Gerald Wallace had 17 points for the Trail Blazers and Wes Matthews had 16.

Grant Hill produced 12 points for the Suns, who have lost three in a row.
