The Wizards won only their third game of the season Wednesday with a 17-point decision over Charlotte.

Budinger made 8-of-14 shots from the field from off the bench and played 25 minutes after having seen no action at all in Houston's previous three games.

He helped pick up the slack created with leading scorer Kevin Martin out due to a sort right foot. Luis Scola added 19 points for Houston, a winner in eight of its last nine games.

Washington remained the only team in the NBA without a road win this season, having dropped all eight away from home. John Wall led the Wizards with 17 points.
