Rose made 14-of-24 shots from the field and was backed up by 20 points and 13 rebounds from Carlos Boozer. Joakim Noah added 15 points and 16 boards.

Rose's previous season high had been 31 points, produced Jan. 10 against Minnesota.

Brandon Jennings led Milwaukee with 25 points and Drew Gooden had 23.

The Bucks began what will be a long stretch of games without center Andrew Bogut, who suffered a fractured ankle Wednesday against Houston. He is expected to miss at least two months.
