NHL: Vancouver 3, Edmonton 2 (SO)

VANCOUVER, British Columbia, Jan. 25 (UPI) -- Cody Hodgson's shootout goal Tuesday gave the Vancouver Canucks a 3-2 win over Edmonton.

Daniel Sedin and David Booth scored in regulations for the Canucks, who took a two-game winning streak into the NHL All-Star break.

Roberto Luongo had 30 saves, including eight in overtime, and held the Oilers to one goal in the shootout.

Shawn Horcoff and Taylor Hall scored for Edmonton in regulation. Horcoff was unable to get past Luongo in the Oilers' final attempt in the shootout.

Devan Dubnyk made 33 saves for the Oilers, who have lost nine of their last 11 games.
