NHL: Nashville 3, Chicago 1

CHICAGO, Jan. 25 (UPI) -- Pekka Rinne stopped 24-of-25 shots and Mike Fisher collected the game-winning goal Tuesday in the Nashville Predators' 3-1 victory over Chicago.

Rinne logged his ninth straight win for the red-hot Predators, who entered the All-Star Game break with four consecutive triumphs and nine wins in their last 10 games.

Fisher's tally with 2 1/2 minutes left in the first period handed Nashville a 2-0 lead while Craig Smith and Colin Wilson also scored for the Predators.

The Blackhawks got their only goal from Dave Bolland.

Corey Crawford stopped 23 shots for Chicago.
