DENVER, Jan. 25 (UPI) -- Carson McMillan's goal at 7:44 of the third period Tuesday proved to be the difference in the Minnesota Wild's 3-2 win over Colorado.
McMillan converted a mid-ice turnover into a breakaway and slipped a wrist shot past Jean-Sebastian Giguere to break a 2-2 tie and stake the Wild to their second consecutive win.
