
OKLAHOMA CITY, Jan. 25 (UPI) -- Russell Westbrook scored four points in a key six-point run during the fourth quarter Wednesday, leading Oklahoma City to a 101-91 win over New Orleans.
New Orleans has lost nine straight games.
The Hornets climbed to within four on a layup by Al-Farouq Aminu with 4:34 to play, but then had three missed shots and a turnover while the Thunder built their lead to 10.
Westbrook had two free throws and a layup during that stretch and Kevin Durant contributed a slam dunk in bringing Oklahoma City its third straight victory. The Thunder have three losses this season, fewest in the NBA.
Durant scored 25 points to go with seven rebounds and three blocks. James Harden added 18 points and Westbrook had 14.
New Orleans got 20 points from Jarrett Jack and 16 from Gustavo Ayon.
