CLEVELAND, Jan. 25 (UPI) -- Antawn Jamison made three of Cleveland's nine 3-pointers Wednesday and the Cavaliers clamped down defensively to defeat New York 91-81.

Cleveland held New York without a point for a stretch of 5 minutes spanning the third and fourth quarters while breaking open a close contest and snapping a four-game losing streak.

Jamison scored 15 points and both Anthony Parker and Omri Casspi had 13 for the Cavaliers. Cleveland made 9-of-20 from 3-point range while the Knicks were good on only 3-of-21 from beyond the arc.

Amare Stoudemire led the Knicks with 19 points and 14 rebounds. Carmelo Anthony added 15 points.

New York has lost seven out of eight and is 1-1 on a four-game road trip that continues with stops in Miami and Houston.
