CHARLOTTE, N.C., Jan. 24 (UPI) -- Tyson Chandler's 20 points and 17 rebounds Tuesday helped the New York Knicks snap a six-game losing streak with a 111-78 rout of Charlotte.

Amare Stoudemire's 18 points and eight rebounds allowed New York to overcome another subpar game from superstar forward Carmelo Anthony, who managed a career-low one point on 0-of-7 shooting from the field.

Anthony, struggling with a sprained ankle, pulled down 11 rebounds for the Knicks, who dominated Charlotte on the boards by a 53-33 margin.

Rookie Kemba Walker struck for 22 points but it wasn't enough to prevent the Bobcats' 11th defeat in 12 games.
