PITTSBURGH, Jan. 21 (UPI) -- Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger's lawyer says a settlement was reached between his client and a woman who alleged he forced himself on her.

The terms of the agreement were not revealed, however attorneys for both sides said the deal puts an end to the ordeal.

Andrea McNulty alleged Roethlisberger assaulted her in his room at Harrah's Hotel in Lake Tahoe in 2008. McNulty, who worked at the casino, contended he called her to his room to check a malfunctioning television and then forced her to have sex with him.

Roethlisberger has denied the allegations.

TMZ.com said McNulty also agreed to drop her cases against Harrah's employees who she alleged hushed up the alleged incident.
