NBA: Chicago 95, Charlotte 89

CHICAGO, Jan. 21 (UPI) -- Carlos Boozer and Luol Deng combined for 45 points Saturday and the Chicago Bulls stayed perfect at home with a 95-89 victory over Charlotte.

Boozer pumped in 23 points and grabbed nine rebounds while Deng chipped in with 22 and eight as Chicago improved to 7-0 at the United Center.

The Bulls won despite the absence of Derrick Rose, who sat out his fourth straight game with a turf toe injury.

Chicago was helped by 20 points from Richard Hamilton while C.J. Watson added 11 and nine assists.

Charlotte dropped its ninth in 10 games despite 22 points and nine rebounds from Gerald Henderson.
